ABCO Technology, an accredited information technology college with the main campus located in the Los Angeles area, has been awarded the Military Friendly® designation for the 2026–2027 award year, a national recognition that honors institutions demonstrating a meaningful, sustained commitment to the military-connected community.
The Military Friendly® designation is awarded annually by MilitaryFriendly.com, which evaluates more than 3,000 schools nationwide using a combination of publicly available institutional data, responses from student-Veterans, and a proprietary organizational survey. Fewer than 30% of participating institutions earn the designation, which is regarded as a mark of excellence in serving those who have served.

A Proven Commitment to Those Who Served
Founded in 2000 and accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), ABCO Technology has built a 25-year legacy of helping students launch and advance careers in the technology sector. The college offers hands-on, instructor-led training in high-demand fields including Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Network Administration, Programming, and Web Development, skills that directly complement the technical expertise many veterans develop during their service.
All of ABCO Technology’s programs are approved by the Veterans Administration, and the college provides a dedicated veterans representative to help eligible students navigate and maximize their education benefits. These include the GI Bill®, Veteran Readiness & Employment (VR&E), Chapter 35 Dependents’ Educational Assistance, and Tuition Assistance programs for active-duty service members.
ABCO Technology also offers flexible scheduling options, both on-campus and fully online, as well as hybrid modality with live, instructor-led daily classes designed to accommodate the demanding and often unpredictable schedules of active-duty service members, veterans in transition, and military spouses.
What the Military Friendly® Designation Means
The Military Friendly® program, operated by a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business, is widely regarded as the standard by which organizations’ commitment to the military community is measured. Each year, institutions are evaluated across key performance categories including graduation outcomes, employment rates, student retention, and the breadth of support services available to military-connected students.
For 2026–2027, more than 3,200 schools participated in the survey, with a select group earning special recognition for going above and beyond the standard. ABCO Technology’s designation places it among an elite tier of institutions that have demonstrated measurable, data-backed results in serving veterans and their families from enrollment through career placement.
